Local Christian Band Gears Up For Annual Good Friday Concert

One of CNY’s most active and popular Christian bands, The Sent Forth, have been in rehearsals for this years production of “Tenebrae.” The annual concept concert started 6 years ago, when Michael Bolio, lead vocalist and bass guitar player for the band, attended local Maundy Thursday services.

Solar Workshop Set for April 20 in Oswego

The workshop will include a presentation on the basics of solar electric systems for the homeowner, as well as a new way of using solar energy called community solar. Representatives from several solar energy companies will be on hand with information and displays, and will be available to answer questions from workshop participants.

‘Contemporary Heartbeat’ Pulses In College’s ‘Pride & Prejudice’

A classic story that its stage manager says is adapted to display a “contemporary heartbeat,” the SUNY Oswego theater department’s “Pride & Prejudice” will open at 7:30 p.m. April 21, in Waterman Theatre.” The production, based on Jon Jory’s adaptation of the 19th century Jane Austen novel, will run at 7:30 p.m. April 22 and 29, with a finale at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30. The show will preview at 7:30 p.m. April 20.
