This summer the Fulton Family YMCA is bringing our Girls Rock program back with new age groups. This program is designed for tween girls to learn values and positive behaviors, in order to make positive life choices. The girls will be given an opportunity to explore their unique talents and interests, to help them realize their potential.
The week of Monday, May 8 through 12 is Teacher Appreciation week. As a thank you to our local teachers, the Oswego YMCA is offering a free week at the Y. Teachers can stop by the Oswego YMCA to try a class or workout in our fitness facility anytime during Teacher Appreciation Week.

SUNY Oswego presented scholarships and other awards to more than 100 students at the college’s 2017 Honors Convocation, including several from the area. The formal ceremony, complete with a procession of faculty and college officers in full academic regalia, is sponsored each spring at Oswego by Vega, the women’s honor society.
A student in the welding technology program at CiTi recently put his skills to the test to repair a piece of gym equipment for his home district. Sandy Creek Central School District asked CiTi’s welding program if it could assist in repairing a leg press machine.
