Emily Renne, a native of Cleveland, graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College’s School of Communications with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. The degree was awarded in December 2016.

Oswego Middle School Principal Mary Beth Fierro along with her faculty and staff would like to recognize the following students who earned Honor Roll and/or High Honor Roll status for the second marking period of the 2016-17 school year.

Assemblyman Will Barclay will host two coffee hour town hall meetings on March 11. One will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Redfield Town Hall, located at 4830 County Route 17 in Redfield.

SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station, in partnership with the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways, is offering a free adult leader training session from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 6, at Rice Creek. Registration deadline is April 20.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Nicholas Gilmour, a native of Cato, NY, graduated from Ithaca College’s School of Communications with a degree in Television-Radio. The degree was awarded in December 2016.

“It is terrific that faculty, staff, visitors and students that are nursing mothers now have access to the use of lactation rooms on campus,” said Amy Plotner, assistant vice president for human resources at the college. “This is an important aspect of ensuring accessible, private, safe, and specifically designated spaces that will help provide a supportive environment on campus.”

The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
