The annual Oswego Town Ice Cream Social, sponsored by the Oswego Town Historical Society, will be held July 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Oswego Town Park next to the Town Hall, 2320 County Route 7 (Johnson Road).

The following local students will attend Clarkson University in Potsdam and begin studying in the fall 2014 semester.

For the pair, the race to the top was more about friendship than winning “She’s my best friend,” Thormann said with Schreyer adding, “It was never about competing against each other.”
Students in first-year teacher Danielle Bovay’s class at Granby Elementary recently celebrated the end of the year with a fiesta themed party. The fourth graders and their families enjoyed Mexican food, dancing and spent time looking over portfolios that showcased student work.
