Local Students Earn Degrees from The College of Saint Rose
The College of Saint Rose in Albany announced that 1,687 students earned undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates of advanced study as members of the Class of 2014.

The AmeriCorps Summer Youth Activities at Oswego City Parks program kicks off on Thursday. AmeriCorps members Cynthia Emrich and Erin Chetney will be providing equipment in conjunction with Oswego County Youth Bureau and the City of Oswego for games and activities for youth in our city parks.
The Oswego City Band celebrates its 80th year beginning Wednesday with an exciting and varied musical program, according to Trevor Jorgensen, concert band conductor.
The Country Cruizers Car Club presented a donation of $500 to the Hannibal Chapter of Dollars for Scholars. Dollars for Scholars is a subsidiary of Scholarship America.
Set to run July 14-18 and August 11-15 at the center, 357 State St., the camp offers students a choice of art, writing, dance and theatre classes along with lunch and afternoon group art projects from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
North Bay Campgrounds will host its seventh annual Fishing Derby on Lake Neahtahwanta on June 28 from 9 a.m. until noon. Registration desk opens at 8:30 a.m.
