The Oswego City School District was recently notified that they would be the recipient of the Expanded Half Day Pre-kindergarten Grant. The funds received would allow the district to add an afternoon class at Kingsford Park School as well as expand a current morning class at Leighton to full-day.

Oswego Health is offering free workshops for community members who want to better manage their chronic conditions. The free, six-week program developed by Stanford University will be held Tuesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. beginning January 14 at the Pontiac Terrace Apartments on West First Street in Oswego.
The King of Rock and Roll was discovered alive and well at the Oswego High School class of 1958’s 55th reunion held recently. The two-day event kicked off Friday night with an ice breaker at Vona’s Restaurant. As the classmates gathered Saturday night at the 1881 Steakhouse for dinner and mingling, they were treated to a visit by Elvis himself
