An honor guard of Masons, members from Lake Ontario Commandery No. 32, Watertown No. 11, Lake Ontario Royal Arch No 165, Masons and Brothers from Pulaski No 279 and Shrine marched together to the presentation.

The Oswego City Firefighters Association will host a chicken barbecue benefit for Julian Ross on Saturday. Julian was diagnosed on August 4, 2011, and since then has had multiple surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, bone marrow aspirations, scans, transfusions and blood draws.
On August 1 at 7 p.m. the Summer Sunset Concerts Series continues in Oswego’s Breitbeck Park with a performance of the Oswego City Band directed by Donald Goodness. Please note the earlier starting time of 7 p.m.
This Saturday youth ages 5 through 12 will have the opportunity to compete in the USTA Summer Tennis Olympics.Hosted by the Oswego City / County Youth Bureau, the event, which is free, offers participants the opportunity to enjoy friendly competitive tennis games and other activities.
