In back: Carolyn Thompson (Entergy), Leighton Principal Julie Burger, Fitzhugh Principal Donna Simmons, Oswego Special Programs Director Amy DiVita, Riley Principal Dr. Randy Richards and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Cathy Chamberlain.</p>Thanks to the cooperative partnership between Entergy, the United Way, Success by Six, Oswego Sunrise and Noon Rotary as well as Fulton Rotary and the Oswego City School District, parents will have an opportunity to see that “Children do come with Directions.”

‘Reading is Fundamental’ At Granby Elementary

<p>It was easy for Adriana Walker, a first grade student at Granby Elementary, to pick out the book she wanted. As part of the school’s Reading Is Fundamental Day, each student was allowed to pick out a free book to encourage reading, both at school and at home.</p>Granby Elementary School celebrated the importance of literacy with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) Day held recently at the school.
