The Spring Concert by the Cayuga Community College Chorus is coming up tonight (May 7), and will feature several familiar songs and numbers from recent films.

Recently, Assemblyman Will Barclay introduced 92-year-old WWII Navy veteran Bob Green to the Assembly Chamber in Albany. Green lives in Volney, where he has dedicated his life to helping those in the community.
Faculty members at the State University of New York at Geneseo recently elected a local student to the college’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most widely known academic honor society.
The American Wildlife Conservation Foundation will co-sponsor a free public education program on “Lake Ontario” on May 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Salmon River Fish Hatchery, Altmar.
The College Chorus will present traditional and contemporary pieces, including songs and music from recent movies such as “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Greatest Showman.” Several chorus members will be featured as soloists, and the chorus will be accompanied by pianist Sally Baily.
