Without Additional Pre-K Students, Fulton Will Have To Return State Dollars
The benefit of additional state aid for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program in Fulton may soon be lost if the district doesn’t receive a few more students. The district has to enroll 162 students by Oct. 1 or cut a refund check to the state for a portion of state aid money received for the 2008-09 school year. As of Friday, the district was approximately a dozen students short of that goal.
