The Oswego Marching Bucs posted a solid 74.25 at this past weekend’s Jordan-Elbridge show. It’s the season-opened for the Marching Bucs. They were the only unit competing in the National class at J-E. They’re performing a show called “The Search”.

Wednesday, September 9 nearly 4,200 Oswego City School District students returned to the classroom.

The Oswego High School Marching Bucs will commence the New York State Field Band Conference season on Saturday, September 12 at Jordan-Elbridge. The Bucs will perform at 8:30 p.m. The program commences at 7:30 and bands in competition include East Ramapo, Horseheads, Baldwinsville and host Jordan-Elbridge.
It’s a rite of summer — a trip to that street that runs along Lake Ontario just west of the college, for a Texas hot or a fish sandwich. Seagulls, throwing rocks into the lake, watching the sun go down. Summer in Oswego has meant Rudy’s for decades.
Tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Oswego Town Hall in Oswego Center, the people behind Rudy’s will be serving up a rich meal of stories and photos about this signature business.
