At its meeting Monday night, the Administrative Services Committee, councilors approved Fire Chief Jeff McCrobie’s request to accept a trio of donations. One of them was 200 smoke detectors from Lowe’s. Firefighters carry smoke alarms with them on calls, the chief pointed out.
