In a split vote Monday night, the Common Council approved salary hikes for its president and vice president. The vote to approve the rules of the council, including the salary adjustments, was passed 5-2 with Councilor Dan Donovan and Councilor Shawn Walker voting “absolutely not.”
Things will be back to normal Tuesday as temperatures return to the 30s for the highs.
