he Oswego County Department of Solid Waste confirmed that an accident involving a motor vehicle took place at the transfer station in Pulaski shortly after 12 p.m. today (June 25). After firefighters pulled the man from the vehicle, Northern Oswego County Ambulance Service transferred him to Upstate University Medical Hospital in Syracuse.
In preparation for 2012 Independence Day Parade, to be held on Sunday, the Oswego Police Department wishes to announce the following traffic advisories and general information:
A Cleveland woman struck a man with a tree branch and then stole his wallet, according to sheriff’s deputies. At 5:49 a.m. on Friday, Sabrina E. Colvin, 26, of 243 State Route 49, Cleveland, was arrested for third-degree robbery, a class D felony.

Friends of Great Bear will host a community environmental project to increase public awareness of the threat of the emerald ash borer at Great Bear Recreation Area from 10 a.m. to noon June 23.
