Dozens Lose Their Hair To Fight Childhood Cancer
It took Emily Bradshaw nearly her entire life to grow her long brown hair. It took only a few moments for the Kingsford fifth grader’s locks to be shaved off Monday evening. However, Emily’s unselfish act will give other youngsters a fighting chance at life. The 10-year-old was one of nearly 80 people taking part in the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event in the food court of the Campus Center at SUNY Oswego.

According to Fulton’s weather observer, 2.3 inches of snow was recorded on Feb. 27. That’s in addition to the 3.1 inches on the 26th and 7.6 inches on the 25th. Rainfall is in store for most of Monday.
Project Is Golden Opportunity For Scout To Instill Love Of Art
For her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, Paige Gray decided to create a “Mural of Memories” and rekindle the love of art in elementary and middle school age students in the process. The youngsters created a panel reflecting their ideas of positive change.
