Fulton Mayor Ron Woodward kept it short and not-so-sweet to the city’s managers in a memo Monday: No overtime.
He issued a two-line directive Monday that aims to curb one of the major costs in the city’s already-stressed budget.
Program is assisting the students academically and helping make them better prepared for the transition to high school. It has helped some of those students earn high honor roll status for the last quarter.

At its meeting Monday night, the Common Council approved a proposed change of zone for certain property located in the Seventh Ward from an R-4 Residential District to an R-2 Residential District, as per a request by several residents of Pond Path.
At approximately 5:38 a.m. today, Oswego City Police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of West Fifth and Mohawk streets. The victim reported that an undisclosed amount of money was forcibly stolen from him.
The homeowner reportedly suffered burns getting out of the house. The fire was reported at the home, located at the corner of Johnson Road (County Route 7) and the Gardenier Road, around 1 p.m.
