Today, we learn about the results of a food drive at G. Ray Bodley High school, we visit a coffeehouse, and we discover that the fall cross country season’s not over for runner Noah Carroll, who will spend Thanksgiving trying to qualify for yet one more race.
This isn’t the first time that William Levea has been charged with murder.
On December 23, 1966, police say he and James Egan got into a fight at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton. Police allege Levea hit Egan with a bardstool or chair and then kicked him in the neck or head. Egan died.
Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate, barely won the fight for absentee votes in Oswego County. He beat Owens among absentees, 544 to 534. Dede Scozzafava, the Republican who dropped out of the race on the weekend before the election and, a day later, endorsed Owens, pulled 204 absentees.
In the face of greater need than ever, organizers worry their dollars won’t stretch as far as they used to because of the closing of a local auction house that helped to meet their needs.
The carnival, which became part of a weekend of community events, intended to help meet those needs.

Police in Cayuga County are offering a little more information about the investigation into William Levea of Fulton. He’s accused of murder, for allegedly ramming the back of another man’s car until it went out of control and crashed, killing the driver.
Today, police are giving us a look at Levea’s car, to try to jog the memories of people who might have seen him Friday afternoon.
G. Ray Bodley students pick up a second place finish at the most recent Oswego County Academic Youth league competition. You’ll learn how they did it.
