The new tower would be placed on what Fulton locals call Watertower Hill, a high spot in the city along Route 3 that abuts Fairgrieve Elementary School. The city’s water tower is there, as is a communications tower owned by the city.

Veterans, friends and family gathered Wednesday to observe Veterans’ Day. The Fulton school district is offering to host a clinic to get an H1N1 flu vaccine to its students.
Superintendent Bill Lynch told the Board of Education Tuesday night that the county has asked schools if they would be willing to hold clinics to provide nasal mist vaccine to students. The district is willing to do so.
The new state license plates have been unveiled. You’ll have to change your license plate when you renew your vehicle registration, starting in May, 2010. It’ll cost an extra $25 for the new plates.
Ceremonies honoring the sacrifices of our veterans take place today.
In Fulton, the ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at the park across the street from City Hall. There’ll be a luncheon afterwards at the VFW on Cayuga St.
In Oswego, ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. in the community room at City Hall. A procession begins at 10:45 a.m. to Veterans Park in West Linear Park. The ceremony at the park begins at 11:00 a.m. VFW Post 569 hosts a luncheon afterwards.
