Thursday, New York joined in a multi-state lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for delaying a decision on whether to allow states to aggressively reduce car and truck emissions, Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Pete Grannis announced.

There is room at the table for 300 people to eat and celebrate at the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, organizers announced. Meals will be served on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, from noon until 3 p.m. at State Street United Methodist Church at 357 State Street in Fulton. The Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars seeks donations of toys, food and care package items which will be sent to deployed military and their families. Items will be sent to military personnel this month to arrive in time for Christmas.
