In an effort to keep its programs affordable for aspiring thespians, Rising Stars Children’s Theatre is seeking assistance from the public.
A Fulton property owner has just more than two weeks to clean her property or go to trial. Susan Weichard owns the property at 230 Cayuga St., Fulton, which was destroyed by a fire last year. A Fulton City Court Judge said last week that if the debris is not removed within three weeks, Weichard will go to trial June 4.
A Fulton property owner who has faced several charges in Fulton City Code Court may be brought up on additional charges for keeping chickens in his back yard in the city’s Sixth Ward. William Rinn III defends that the animals are his children’s pets. City attorney Mary Rain maintains that Rinn has to decide which goes first: the chickens or the charge.
Councilors are concerned about the safety of the dogs and public. The First Ward councilor has received various complaints about dogs running loose in Montcalm Park.
