COVID-19 Statistics Update, June 8, 2020

According to the Oswego County Health Department, as of 3 p.m. today, there has been one additional case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) since Saturday, June 6. The cumulative reported number is 111 cases across the county and of those, 98 have recovered and three have died.

Oswego County Food Distribution Drive-Thrus Scheduled For June 10, 11

June 8, 2020 Contributor
More than 8,000 gallons of milk will be handed out along with, 35,000 pounds of produce and 16,000 pounds of meat between the two events. Each household will receive two gallons of milk and one box each of produce (22 pounds) and meat (10 pounds) while supplies last.

OCO Cancer Services Expands To North Country

Carolyn Handville, program coordinator for Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Cancer Services of the North Country has announced that the program was recently awarded a five year grant from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) allowing the program to continuing to offer its services in the north country.
