Mayor Barlow Proposes Free Public Ice Skating for City Residents

Mayor Billy Barlow announced his proposal to waive all fees associated with public ice skating at the city of Oswego public ice rinks. Previously, fees for open ice skating ranged from $1.50 per visit to $3 per visit depending on age. “Oswego families pay for these facilities already through their property taxes and should not have to pay a fee again,” the mayor said..

Mayor Barlow Announces $25,000 Funding to Good Guys Barbershop Expansion Project

Mayor Billy Barlow announces $25,000 in funding to assist the Good Guys Barbershop in Oswego with its expansion and re-location project in downtown Oswego resulting in the addition of four jobs and storefront location on West First Street in the core of downtown. The funding comes from the commitment of program income through the NYS Community Development Block Grant program.
