Former speedway Modified driver Shawn Donath put on a late race driving exhibition Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway in winning the exciting 25 lap Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints A-Main.

With the battle for another Oswego Speedway track championship set to be settled tomorrow night as a part of Bosco & Geers/Oswego County FCU Track Championship Night, we move back 17 years to 1995 and a day the Muldoon family will never soon forget.

It all comes down to this weekend.  The prize is one of the most prestigious in all of short track open wheel racing, the Oswego Speedway Supermodified Track Championship.

Doyle will fish for salmon on the Oswego River on Oct. 13 with professional angler and Outdoor Channel TV host Joe Thomas.

The championship battles in both the Novelis Supermodified and Pathfinder Bank SBS divisions look to come right down to the wire in dramatic fashion this Saturday night.

After his SUNY Canton Sportsman feature win on August 11, Ron Davis III’s GM 602 Crate engine was removed from his car and taken to the LJL/Kevlar engine shop for closer inspection to ensure it was legal by Fulton Speedway’s engine rules.

With only one more race on the regular season schedule for the Novelis Supermodified and Pathfinder Bank SBS divisions, we come one day closer to the Budweiser International Classic 200 at Oswego Speedway on Sunday, September 2.
