Budweiser International Classic Weekend continues on September 1 with Bud Light Night at the ‘Steel Palace’ as the Pathfinder Bank SBS Series, the ISMA Supermodifieds, and the ATQMRA TQ Midgets battle for Classic gold. Pit gates will open on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with warm-ups beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Just around the corner it will be time for one of the most prestigious and well attended events in all of Modified racing in the Northeast at the Fulton Speedway. On Sept. 28-29 The 27th Annual Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend presented by SUNY Canton will hit the “High Banks.”
There is just a month to go before one of the most prestigious Modified races in the Northeast, the 27th Annual Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend By SUNY Canton, Sept. 28-29 at the Fulton Speedway.
Novelis Supermodified Top 14 Time Trials for the International Classic 200, the 602 crate dirt Sportsman Classic, and Pathfinder Bank SBS Bud Light Classic qualifying will all be a part of the agenda on Friday.
On the race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites, Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Stocks plus an appearance by the Sportsman.
Starting Tuesday night the festivities kick-off at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego with The Tom Baker Radio Show from 8-10 p.m., followed up Wednesday with the Racing Rolling Classic Bowling Tournament. However, the party officially gets started on Speedway grounds this Thursday.
Mother Nature cooperated all season and the racing has been great. This Saturday, Sept. 1 it all comes down to naming 2012 Track Champions on the final night of the points season.
The NEMA Midgets made their long awaited return to Oswego Speedway on Saturday night, and it was Jim Miller in the No. 3m dominating the field for his first Oswego win, and first NEMA victory since 2001.
Off of a strong third place finish the night before at the Brewerton Speedway that saw teammate Billy Decker pull in victory lane, Pat Ward turned the tables Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway on Decker.
With two, three wide racing throughout the entire 25 car starting field Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway, it was Billy Decker that ended upholding the checkered flag at the end of 35 hard fought laps in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature.
