It was a night of firsts in the Modifieds and Sportsman, Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway, as Chuck Bower and Ron Davis III won their first ever features on the “High Banks.”

As C’s Beverage-Days Inn/Travelodge Night at Oswego Speedway prepares to take the green at 6:30 p.m. today, we continue to look ahead to the biggest Supermodified race in the world, the Budweiser International Classic 200.

Saturday night’s racing at Oswego Speedway will have a little extra in store with the addition of the Tobais Speed STR series as a part of C’s Beverage-Days Inn/Travelodge Night at the ‘Steel Palace.’

We gave it our best shot but it’s raining at the Brewerton Speedway at 4:55 we have cancelled for tonight August 10, track officials said.

The 1988 Speedway season proved to be a banner year for the driver of the Miller American No. 02.  Bellinger went on to narrowly claim his only Oswego Speedway track championship in ’88, by just 25 points over Mike Ordway, with three regular season feature wins.

As the race for the 2012 Oswego Speedway track championship continues to heat up, the days continue to count down to Budweiser International Classic Weekend and the 200-lap Supermodified crown jewel.

With only two races remaining in the battle for the Oswego Speedway track championship, both Otto Sitterly and Mike Bond continue to hold slim leads over the competition.

Budweiser International Classic Weekend is now set at Oswego Speedway.  The 602 Crate Dirt Sportsman division will fill the recently vacant slot on the Friday, August 31st rundown for International Classic Weekend with the $1,500 to win Sportsman “Sizzler” 30.
