SUNY Oswego Lax Team Adds Pink To Green & Gold, To Fight Cancer

As part of SUNY Oswego’s “Family and Friends Weekend,” the men’s lacrosse team will be wearing pink this fall when they host their annual intrasquad scrimmage. Previously known as their “Green/Gold Game,” this year the team will conduct its first “Green/Gold/Pink Game” as a “Stick It To Cancer” fundraiser for Coaches vs. Cancer.

Fulton Century Marathon And Half Marathon Set To Go

The Fulton YMCA will offer the first only marathon and ½ marathon events in Oswego County on Sunday, October 12, 2008.  The Century Marathon and Half Marathon will take place at as well as start at, Bull Head Point, with a start time of 7:00 am, in honor of a local runner, Ruth Ripley.

Lady Buc Volleyball Wins on Dig Pink Night

With the players, staff, and crowd dressed in pink the Lady Bucs Volleyball team not only celebrated a four set win over Central Square (3-1), but also brought awareness and support to breast cancer awareness month.  All proceeds from last night’s match will be given to the American Cancer Society.
