Hannibal Boys Earn First Cross Country Win Of Season; Girls Fall To Ranked Teams
No complaints from Hannibal cross country coach Dan Pawlewicz about his boys varsity team’s loss to Westhill. After all, Westhill is ranked 4th in the state in Class B, 7th in all of Section III. And the close loss, 25-34, was tempered by the excitement over Hannibal’s first win of the season, 26-30, over Cazenovia in this three way meet.

Auyer Clinches Buc Soccer Win Over Watertown
Sophomore forward Stephen Auyer scored with 2:23 left in the game to lift the Oswego varsity boys soccer team to a 2-1 triumph over Watertown on Tuesday at Turrill Street Field.

Oswego Girls Take Swim Meet Over West Genny
Oswego swam a good meet tonight with West Genessee and managed to come out on top. The meet was very close until junior Laura O’Brien took first place points in the diving competition with a lifetime best score of 164.25. Following that, Oswego’s depth, along with some key first place finishes, helped to extend the lead and hold it until the end of the meet.

Lady Buc Varsity Volleyball on Tear; Defeats Liverpool
The Oswego girls’ varsity volleyball team won another marathon match downing Liverpool in five sets, 25-19, 25-22, 22-25, 15-25, and 25-18. Oswego is now 6-1 in league play and 6-3 overall.
