The United Way’s Annual Campaign officially gets under way with a Kickoff Breakfast to be held Sept. 14 from 8 – 9 a.m. at the American Foundry, Route 104 East (behind The Fajita Grill).
Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Melanie Trexler has announced that the United Way, in collaboration with school districts throughout Oswego County, has officially kicked-off its annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign and is currently collecting school supplies for children in need.
The governor feels very strongly that he was elected for three primary reasons, state Transportation Commissioner Joan McDonald said. They are get the economy up and running again, ethics reform and restoring the legacy of social reform. Passing an on-time state budget was a good start, she said.
