Governor’s People First Campaign Rolls Into Oswego

The state's Transportation Commissioner Joan McDonald delivers Gov. Cuomo's "People First" message to a crowd in Oswego City Hall on Thursday afternoon.

The governor feels very strongly that he was elected for three primary reasons, state Transportation Commissioner Joan McDonald said. They are get the economy up and running again, ethics reform and restoring the legacy of social reform. Passing an on-time state budget was a good start, she said.

Entergy Wraps Up Employee Campaign For United Way

FitzPatrick Nuclear Plant to thank them as well as the members of Entergy’s employee campaign team for their efforts in support of the United Way. From left are: Tammy Holden, Luber, Carolyn Thompson, Linda Krackehl, Julie Fischer, Patti Ponzi and Tammy Elowsky.

One of Oswego County’s most community minded companies, Entergy’s James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant, recently completed its annual employee campaign in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Carl Paladino brought his campaign to the Port City on Saturday afternoon. He arrived at the Press Box shortly before 3 p.m. He was greeted by more than five dozen supporters and patrons already pumped up from watching Syracuse University pummel Cincinnati on the football field.
