When it comes to the United Way’s mission of raising awareness of the human needs that exist in Oswego County, the efforts of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Oswego County focuses on one of the most important.
Central New York radio personality, Rick Gary will serve as the lead rider in the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County’s eighth annual Blue Ribbon Ride Against Child Abuse.
While most people know what the yellow ribbon and the pink ribbon represent, Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, wants the community to be just as familiar with the blue ribbon and what it represents.

However, in times like these the services offered through the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Oswego County are able to provide the survivor with the tools necessary to expedite the healing process.

The Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County received some much needed support recently for its upcoming 6th Annual “Blue Ribbon Ride†Against Child Abuse. Part of the CAC’s Blue Ribbon Campaign that focuses on awareness and prevention of child abuse in Oswego County, the ‘Blue Ribbon Ride’ is a 80 mile motorcycle ride that will wind throughout Oswego County.
