Regional Summer School Supports Make-A-Wish

For the past six years, students enrolled in the Regional Summer School have raised money in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, Inc. Students in grades 7-12 took part in the fund-raising efforts in several different ways. Middle school students participated in two hat days to help raise money for the cause and monetary contributions were collected throughout the entire six weeks of school. The final fundraiser for Make-A-Wish was “Guess How Many M & Ms are in the Jar?”

Evening Distance Learning Course for SAT/PSAT Preparation

Do you need assistance preparing for the October 10th SAT? We are here to help! Oswego County BOCES Distance Learning Program will host an evening edition of the SAT Prep Class, Mondays and Wednesdays, September 14 through October 7. The classes will be held from 6:15 to 7:45 pm, in the Distance Learning Rooms at the Central Square, Phoenix, Hannibal and Sandy Creek high schools.

Fulton Board of Ed Names Leaders, Handles Annual Duties

Fulton’s Board of Education picked its leaders for a new year and plunged into the routine work that faces a school board at its first meeting of the new work year.

Board President Robert Ireland remained in the post.  Former leader Robbin Griffin was selected Vice President.  Brian Hotaling was named the board’s Clerk.
