After months of tension and trauma, Hannibal’s proposed 2010-11 school budget passed by a comfortable margin Tuesday night. The budget cuts into academic programs and band but preserves varsity sports. Voters also decided to reduce the Board of Education from 9 members to 7 and elected 3 people to seats on the board.

Survey Says: Fulton’s High School Logo Will Be a Native American
More than 80% of those surveyed said that the icon should be a Native American.
The committee that tackled this issue will keep on working. Now, it will come up with some ideas for what the logo will look like.
The district will likely keep the block “F” logo you see at left for district-wide issues. The new logo will represent the high school and sports teams.
