A home in the town of Oswego suffered heavy damage in a huge fire early Tuesday.
The Oswego Town Fire Department reports that fire was reported at 207 Furniss Station Rd. at a few minutes after 4:00 a.m. Minetto volunteer firefighters also helped to fight the blaze.
Fire struck a home at 4783 State Route 3 in Mexico this morning. The home is just along the town line with Palermo.
At least seven fire departments have been called to the scene of the blaze. Route 13 is closed through the area.

Emergency medical technician and photographer Rick Grosvent sent these photos and short videos from the scene of a car fire Wednesday in the town of Minetto.
Rick Grosvent shared pictures with us of a barn fire in Palermo that happened late Tuesday afternoon. Rick, who is an emergency medical technician and a photographer, said the fire was on Red School House Road, reported at around 5:00 p.m. See a gallery of photos inside.
News10Now’s Andy Mattison followed up and found that fire officials cannot determine what caused the fire:
“We can get the fire basically to the area of origin, which would be the wood stove at the south end of the structure. Exactly what happened near the wood stove, we’ll probably never know,” said Oswego County Fire Coordinator John Hinds.
The investigation into the fire is closed, Mattison reports.
