Saturday night at Fulton Speedway Alan Johnson got by Tim Sears on lap 26 and from there was never seriously challenged in the 35 lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified Feature. For Johnson it was his second win in as many nights coming of his last lap pass and win Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway.

This Saturday, September 5 at Fulton Speedway, will be the 2009 regular season finale with Track Champions crowned in all divisions. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators will all look to finish out the point season in style on Town Mechanical Night. One on One Spectator Races will also be contested. The great evening of family entertainment will start at 7 p.m.

Billy Decker is coming off a well earned 35-lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified feature race victory last Saturday night. The veteran had to catch and pass youngster Michael Storms with-out the help of a caution period from his 18th starting position.

On Saturday, August 29 Fulton Speedway will host Novelis Can Collection Night in hopes that the community will contribute 100 cans each and in return receive $5 off their general admission ticket into the race track. Novelis along with the Fulton Speedway will be raffling off door prizes as well to those who bring in their aluminum recyclable cans as an extra bonus.

An action packed race program is planned at Fulton Speedway on Military Appreciation Night this Saturday, August 22. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Mod Lites and the Gladiators will all be in competition Where Today’s Legends Race Today.

Dan Kaszubinski suffered damage to his No. 20 entering the final corner of the feature at Fulton on Saturday, by the time he had reached the finish line, a whole new incident had him flipping in to the infield and left everyone in attendance with a memory that will not soon forget. Kaszubinski, from Syracuse, NY, scored the Lucas Oil ASCS Patriot A-Main win on Saturday Night in dramatic fashion when he flipped across the line in the final 25-lap A-Verdi Storage Containers King of Central New York A-Main of the season.

Saturday at Fulton Speedway on Canale Insurance Night, Pat Ward out of Genoa, NY used lapped traffic to his advantage after a torrid battle with Jimmy Phelps. Ward passed Phelps with five to go to pick up the popular 35-lap Big Block Modified main. It was Ward’s second win of the year worth $2,000 to the driver of the Gypsum Express No. 42p.

It will be Trucker’s Appreciation Night this Saturday, August 1 at Fulton Speedway. All C.D.L. License Card holders will be granted free grandstand admission. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators will all be in race competition on Canale Insurance Night. The great evening of family entertainment Where Today’s Legends Race Today will start at 7 p.m. sharp.

Sheppard started sixteenth on the grid and took the lead after an incredible 4-wide battle for the top spot on lap 18. The victory was nothing short of a miracle for Sheppard, as his No. 9 Extreme Lubricants Bicknell was severely overheating in victory lane and the rear end was glowing cherry red during the later stages of the event. Sheppard, a former track champion, last won at Fulton Speedway during the 2005 race season.
