Police Arrest Two For Tampering With Food

Fulton police concluded their investigation into a complaint of food tampering at a local restaurant, making two arrests. Philip F. Dunbar, 30, and Jeremy M. Hankey, 25, both of Fulton, were charged with single counts of third-degree criminal tampering for allegedly spitting into food that was served to a police officer at McDonalds in Fulton. Both are due back in Fulton City Court Dec. 4.

Catholic Charities Distributes Thanksgiving Food Baskets

Staff and volunteers at Catholic Charities of Oswego County were busy preparing for the annual Thanksgiving food basket giveaway. Despite a downturn in donations Catholic Charities’ food pantry will provide more than 150 families with all the fixings for a complete Thanksgiving meal courtesy.

Close Races, First Place Finishes Mark Speed Demons’ Meet Against Oswego Dolphins

Swimmers on the Fulton YMCA Speed Demons brought in several close results and first-place finishes when they matched up against the Oswego YMCA Dolphins Nov. 15 at the Oswego High School pool. Some heats were so close that the winners were determined by a fraction of a second.

OCAY League Designs Distinctive Competition

Think Project Runway meets Junkyard Wars and you would have a general idea of the latest Oswego County Academic Youth (OCAY) League competition. Teams from each of the nine Oswego County school districts converged on the SUNY Oswego campus for a unique competition that brought together “fashion designers with a reuse and recycle attitude.”
