Wilhemina R. (Reynolds) Swiech, 86, a resident of 32 Dublin St. passed away on Wednesday Aug. 31, 2011, at her home with her family by her side.

On Wednesday, at approximately 6:09 a.m., the Oswego City Police Department Anti Crime Team, with the assistance of agents from the United States Border Patrol, executed a narcotics related search warrant at the residence of a Scriba man. On Aug. 29, they arrested a Fulton man on drug charges as well.
Summer was extremely busy throughout the district with major construction and renovations in several buildings. Meanwhile, administration and staff have been working diligently behind the scenes in the academic arena to prepare for the 2011-12 school year.

According to the resolution: “Hospitals, health agencies and poison control centers are experiencing increased emergency room cases, illnesses, deaths and reports linked to the use and abuse of these substances by children and adults.”
