Oswego County Federal Credit Union paid out $4,313 to winners of its recent member referral program, said William Carhart, CEO. “Five new referred members and five referring members each had 30 seconds in the OCFCU ‘Pod’ of Gold prize vault on St. Patrick’s Day to win their portion of $2,500 in cash. One winner was able to grab over $600 in thirty seconds.
On July 23, at about 10:55 p.m., members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on County Route 11 in the Town of Parish on a report of an unattended death. Deputies searched the home and found three deceased people.
An energetic ensemble of brass and percussion, Sound of Brass is comprised of talented musicians from Central New York, who perform a wide variety of musical styles including; swing, Dixieland, polkas, patriotic tunes and other familiar favorites.
The event will feature plenty of food, fun and games for the entire family including: a cake booth, plant booth, Kiddie Land, a 50 / 50 drawing, chicken barbeque and much more.
The friendly competition helps support Oswego County’s only Catholic school. Nine three-member teams took part in the annual fund-raiser, which featured some of the hardest words in its history.
The Candlelight’s Grand Opening Ceremony was held on Saturday July 24.
