Digital Mammography Now Available At Oswego Health

<br />Oswego Health now offers digital mammography at Oswego Hospital and at the Fulton Medical Imaging Office located in suite 200 of the Lee Medical Office Building, 522 South Fourth Street. Pictured at right is Arlene Coppola, site manager of the Fulton Medical Imaging as she assists a patient.

Digital mammography will allow Oswego Health to provide its patients with the highest quality of care in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. This technology allows the radiologist to view the x-ray image more closely, zeroing in on suspicious or concerning areas, enabling them to make immediate decisions about additional images.

Pulaski Public Library Offers Services To Ease Your Economic Crunch

<br />Friends of the Pulaski Public Library members,  Elaine Delaney, Betty Jane Davies, President, and Eileen Soika, prepare for their annual July book sale and membership drive.

In these rough economic times, public libraries are becoming even more important, and the Pulaski Public Library is no exception.

The library offers many services, including free wireless access. It is also a member of the North Country Library System, and patrons can request books from the system’s 64 libraries in person or online.

OCAY League Designs Distinctive Competition

</p>First place in the second OCAY League competition and winning the gold medal was the team from Mexico High School. Think Project Runway meets Junkyard Wars and you would have a general idea of the latest Oswego County Academic Youth (OCAY) League competition. Teams from each of the nine Oswego County school districts converged on the SUNY Oswego campus for a unique competition that brought together “fashion designers with a reuse and recycle attitude.”
