Her name is Jessica Palmitesso and she’s done something no Red Raider pitcher has ever done:  She’s thrown 1,000 strike-threes.  She got her 1,000th K on Saturday.  Also today, it’s Dance Team tryout day and students begin to make plans for the long Memorial Day holiday.

The Raider softball squad raised a ton of money for the Golisano Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, in honor of a young woman who would have been a part of their team if not for cancer.  Also today, G. Ray Bodley students take part in the Special Olympics and students with perfect attendance get a free breakfast.
