State Concludes OFD Investigation, Fines City
BREAKING NEWS: The New York State Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services has concluded its investigation of the Oswego Fire Department involving incidents which occurred in 2009. As a result, the city has been fined $10,000 fine for the violations.

“Significant action†was seen in the Assembly and Senate regarding the possibility of reopening Fort Ontario as well as several other state parks and historic sites that have fallen victim this spring to the state’s budget morass. It’s possible Oswego’s historic site could be open for Memorial Day Weekend.
