Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Melanie Trexler, has announced that the Wal-Mart store in Granby will be hosting a book drive in support of the United Way’s Success By 6 program. An initiative that strives to improve the early childhood development of children throughout Oswego County, Success By 6 distributes books to children throughout the year to encourage literacy and introduce children to the joys of reading.

In an effort to support the United Way Success By 6 “Stuff-A-Bus†campaign, area businesses will be selling paper buses to help raise money to purchase school supplies for students in Oswego County who are in need for the upcoming school year.

Staples in Oswego is lending its support to the United Way’s Annual Success By 6 ‘Stuff-A-Bus’ campaign. Success By 6 is currently collecting school supplies in an effort to stuff ten buses full of much needed school supplies for children in need throughout Oswego County.
