Oswego High School Interact Club Visits Rotary
Five members of the Interact Club visited the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club on Sept. 29. Interact is a club for secondary school aged young people sponsored by the Oswego Noon and Sunrise Rotary clubs.
The Oswego Sunrise Rotary welcomed members of the Oswego High School Interact Club and honored them for their many community service projects. Interact is a Rotary-sponsored youth service club that provided opportunities for young people of secondary school age to work together in a world of fellowship of service and international understanding.
The council approved a request by the Rotarians to use Leotta Park and the Railroad Tunnel on June 11. The event will support the many community service projects of Rotary. Councilors also approved replacing the word “alderman” in the city charter with “councilor.”
