Oswego Professor Breaks Ground with New Book on E-Learning

Now in its fifth year at SUNY Oswego, the project is part of an annual statewide community-service project by Student-Athlete Advisory Council chapters at all 11 SUNY Athletic Conference colleges. SAAC’s mission is to generate a student-athlete voice among Oswego’s 24 intercollegiate teams and to enhance school spirit within athletics.
The Compass, a new feature of SUNY Oswego that was born with the opening of the central portion of the Campus Center in 2007, has been recognized as an exemplary practice in integrating career and academic advising.
Award-winning soprano Andrea Huber will perform “A Little Weill” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom as part of SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.
Oswego’s plan calls for reducing carbon emissions through conservation and improved energy and transportation management and, additionally, through gradually adopting renewable energy technologies.
Sound design will be “a mix of live and recorded sound effects, meant to give the audience the opportunity to ‘be on the scene’ with the actors,” said sound designer Steve Shull of the theatre department.
