The United Way of Oswego County extends a sincere thank you to the many volunteers and sponsors whose commitment to the United Way 2011 Golf Classic again made the event an outstanding success
Thanks to the support we received from community members, and area businesses our inaugural CYO Rock the Rim for Youth Basketball Tournament was a success. The event raised some much needed funds for our CYO program that provides a wide variety of recreational and educational activities for our youth.
Thanks to the tremendous support we received from the community we were able to distribute hundreds of books to children along the parade route. It was wonderful to see the expressions on their faces and the appreciation of the parents.
Thanks to the support we received for our Let’s Give For A Kid program we were able to make Christmas a little merrier for hundreds of children and families throughout Oswego County.
On Dec. 9, Mercedes Niess, executive director of the H. Lee White Marine Museum, told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about the new programs and exhibits at the museum.
