The line between dancers and audience will blur March 30 and 31 at SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre when Mexican-American choreographer Alex Escalante presents his “Clandestino,” which explores the struggle to maintain one’s culture despite borders, boundaries, passports and green cards.
Top one-act plays of six SUNY Oswego student scriptwriters — including rare four-time winner Kimberly Ann Saunders — will appear in the “New Voices” staged readings at 7 p.m. March 27 and 28 in Tyler Hall’s lab theatre.
Quirk’s Players presents “The Sound of Music” tonight, Friday and Saturday at G. Ray Bodley High School. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. each evening. There’s also a 2:00 p.m. Saturday matinee.

This spring, the Oswego Children’s Theater will be presenting a reprise production of the teen drama “Juvie†for the fourth time eight years.
The weather’s played havoc with the annual musical at Hannibal High School, but the show will go on on Saturday, with two shows instead of one to make up for the lost performances.
The school cannot tell you the name of the play because of licensing restrictions from the play’s creator (which seems kinda crazy to us). But they can tell you that the play won Tony awards in 2005.

When is a mystery not a mystery? When it is the 8th annual musical presented by Hannibal High School. While the exact title and details of the performance must remain a mystery due to licensing restrictions, the production is a musical comedy, not a mystery! See a gallery of photos from the upcoming production.
