OMS Students’ Artwork Brightened Night Of Stars

Displaying some of the posters that were created by Oswego Middle School eighth grade art students are Brenna Riley, Taylor Montgomery, Kellie Gorman, Meghan Anderson and Rana Al-Salameh.

When Oswego area “Dancing with the Stars” packed the floor the dancers were not only surrounded by a large audience, but posters created by Oswego Middle School students that help set the mood and atmosphere for the event.

Lakeside Artisans’ Co-Op Puts Local Talent On Display

Calling all artists. Dozens of people got a peek at the Lakeside Artisans’ Co-Op at 193 W. First St., in Canal Commons, Tuesday evening during a genial pre-opening event. The co-op is looking for a few more artisans who would like to be member/owners of the business.

Oswego Students Work Recognized At Elite Art Show

Three Gold Keys were presented to a trio of Oswego High School students in the annual Central New York Scholastic Art Awards. Chelsee Brockwell, Jenna Hotchkiss and Chrissy Abare were all recognized for their outstanding talent while several other Oswego students earned a Silver Key or honorable mention.

Oswego High Artwork Provides Positive Results

It is hoped that five new murals in the Oswego High School will evoke a positive atmosphere for students and staff. When doors swung open for the new year the old empty, used for bulletin board showcases had been removed and replaced with colorful student produced murals.
