Fulton Takes Class A Wrestling Crown

Fulton is again the class of Class A, sweeping to a solid victory in the Section III Class A meet this past weekend in Fulton.

The Red Raiders posted a team score of 249, 50 points higher than second-place Indian River.  See a gallery of photos from the meet by wrestling parent Michele Earl, inside.

Three People Arrest on Forgery Charges

Fulton Police cleared up a nearly year-old case of stolen checks with three arrests this week.

The department alleges that on February 24, 2009, someone stole the personal checks of another person.  Within a month, six of the stolen checks had been cashed at local banks.



Council Honors Clayton Brewer

Brewer stepped down from the County Legislature at the end of 2009, completing a 30 year career in public service.

“Clayton is truly a people person, giving equal care and attention to everyone,” said former Fulton Common Council member Bob Weston, speaking on behalf of the council.



Fulton Man Arrested for Buying Beer For People Under 21 Last Year

It took Fulton Police nearly a year, but this week, they arrested a Fulton man for allegedly giving beer to people under 21 years old.
