Dreams Deferred: New Exhibition On View At Syracuse University Art Museum
Dreams Deferred: Reflections on Liberty, Equality, and Sovereignty in U.S. Art is now on view at the Syracuse University Art Museum. The exhibition examines the idea of freedom in the United States as expressed in art, including its possibilities, its oversights, its uneven implementation, and its attacks on Indigenous sovereignty.


During his talk, which is free and open to the public, Zogby will offer a far-ranging look into the changing nature of contemporary life gleaned from working on the book and his polling practice. A brief reception, starting at 6:30 p.m., will precede the talk. A group discussion welcoming audience questions will follow.
Lewis Putnam Turco, the founding director of SUNY Oswego’s writing program, will give a talk and reading from his most recent books at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the Campus Center auditorium.
Dr. Schaefer’s book, “Science and Christianity: Conflict or Coherence?â€Â, issued from his worldwide lectures and a popular two credit freshmen seminar, of the same title, at the University of Georgia. It is a compilation of essays distilled and enriched from his various lectures that address many important subjects in a straightforward and gracious manner, including much good humor.
