A Piece Of Oswego’s History To Be Restored To Its Rightful Place
A small segment of part of the Port City’s big history will return thanks to the efforts of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club.At its meeting Monday night, the Physical Services Committee granted permission of the Rotarians to place a restored railroad watchman’s shanty in the Seaway Trail Gateway Interpretative Park, fronting on East First Street.
Award-winning soprano Andrea Huber will perform “A Little Weill” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom as part of SUNY Oswego’s Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.
UPDATE: State Police said today (Oct. 6) that Fay M. Spencer, 46, of Fulton, has been located safe and sound. He was fishing with friends on Horn Lake in the town of Ohio, Herkimer County, when he became separated from the group.
In his new position, Dr. Gascon will oversee operation of the hospital’s emergency department. “My goal is to ensure that our emergency room patients receive not only excellent quality care, but that their overall experience exceeds their expectations,†Dr. Gascon said. “I plan to maintain a team of extremely competent clinicians in the emergency department who will meet the community’s needs and provide outstanding care.â€Â
