Scene Around Town: Firefighters Support Human Concerns’ Holiday Effort
Members of the Oswego Fire Department helped pack dozens of bags packed with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving feast. They volunteered their time to help fill the bags and distribute them to area needy families in time for the holiday. Several dozen food baskets were handed out. The firefighters also donated $1,500 to Deb Deeb of the Human Concerns food pantry to support the effort. The local firefighters have been helping to sustain this project for decades.
