New York Lottery Awards $250,000 Cash Prize To Oswego Mega Millions Winner
The New York Lottery today announced the name of a Oswego Mega Millions player who won $250,000 in the drawing held on November 12th. The winner, Helen Tweedie, purchased the winning ticket at the Clarence Travel Plaza at 4002 Ransom Rd in Clarence.

Fulton’s Kush Earns Conference Honors
William Smith College junior forward Kristen Kush (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.) was named to the Liberty League Women’s Basketball Team of the Week. She averaged 17.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in a 1-2 week for the Herons.

The SUNY Oswego music department’s annual holiday extravaganza, titled “Feast of Carols,” will feature campus and community ensembles, religious and secular songs of the season and an audience sing-along at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

The Oswego State Men’s Club Hockey Team recently participated in the third annual Terry Martin/Pride’s Corner Tournament which was hosted by Canton University. Other ACHA D1 teams to participate were Cornell and John Carroll University.
