Kindergarten registration is rapidly approaching in the Oswego City School District. This year kindergarten registration will be from February 23 to 27. Registration will take place in the school your child will be attending.
The Oswego State women’s basketball team took a tough 73-65 loss to Brockport on Tuesday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the loss, the Lakers drop to 5-10 overall and 3-5 in SUNYAC contest while the Golden Eagles improve to 4-10, 2-5.
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team played Utica to a 2-2 draw on Tuesday afternoon. Although the win streak has been snapped, the Lakers still have gone 10 straight games without a loss. The team’s record now sits at 11-2-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the ECAC West.
I have two dogs. One of them, Amanda, loves to go out in the winter, no matter how cold and she runs around happily in the snow until I call her in. She is a mutt of some sort with short hair, so it’s not like she’s a natural winter dog. The other one, Gertie, is a little poodle mix and she acts like snow feels like hot burning coals. I can hardly get her to go out to do her business and then she zips right back to the house.

A study done by the University of Scranton showed that about 45 percent of Americans make resolutions each year and that by six months into the new year, only 46 percent of those making resolutions have stuck to them.
