Oswego Community Christian School was established 35 years ago for the purpose of offering an affordable educational alternative to families in the Oswego community and surrounding areas.
There are many great places to getaway for a night or more in Central New York. Off season rates offer great values. One of the places I wanted to check out this past summer was the new Harbor Hotel in Clayton but I never made it so it is on my “To Do List.” They are open all year and during the winter they have some great value-laden packages. Their Romance Getaway includes a one-night stay for two, rose petal turn-down, bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries plus breakfast. In February, they have a Valentine Ice Bar Weekend with 20,000 pound of ice carved into functional bars and other sculptures.

Using this approach, illustrator and self-styled Guerilla Marketer Glenn Zansitis created Zink Shirts, a small business on the ground floor at 19 E. Cayuga St., in Oswego.

Timothy Bush, district governor for Lions International District 20-Y-1, was the featured speaker at the Fulton Lions Club’s Jan. 15 meeting. Bush congratulated Fulton Lions Len Kellogg and Dr. Brett Tallents for reaching milestones of 30 and 20 years of membership, respectively. He also shared district initiatives for growing membership by “strengthening the pride.”
