The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision at Nazareth College on Saturday night. With the loss, Oswego drops to 7-6-2 on the year while the Golden Flyers improve to 4-6-4.
It is 2016 on the calendar but in the Oswego County Legislative chambers you would think it was still 2015. The games that were being played in 2015 are now in OT. This is the second OT and almost ready to go into Sudden Death. In this case, it was a promotion with a raise. (Sounds a little like Onondaga County).

Our Blount small cruise ship called Caribe Grande made several stops along the St. Lawrence River after leaving Montreal but first we went through the St. Lawrence Seaway locks. Like a stealth ship, while everyone was sleeping, we departed Montreal and traversed the South Shore Canal’s two locks. The St. Lawrence Seaway system is connected by five short canals that bypass the rapids. They include 15 locks 766 feet in length that are filled and emptied by gravity.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team ended in a scoreless overtime tie with No. 15 Utica College on Friday night at the Memorial Auditorium. With the tie, the Lakers are now 7-5-2 on the year.
